Business Administration Management

The objective of this program is to expose the student to the most relevant aspects of business management and administration, while providing the student with the tools required for a career in business. Because the business world is very dynamic, students are taught to keep up to date with the latest developments and business trends by reading financial newspapers, books, and magazines. Case studies are used to train students to think analytically and to apply their knowledge by solving problems and making decisions.

Business Administrative Assistant

The Business Administrative Assistant program facilitates the development of clerical skills including typing, computer skills, oral and written communication, office organization, human relations, and self management. This 600-hour program combines lectures, group discussions, production work, and exams and may include multi-media presentations, guest speakers, and co-operative learning. The courseware is easy to understand and on-line progress checks provide immediate feedback.

Business Applications Specialist / Sales and Marketing

This program builds a solid foundation in fundamental computer and professional skills. Emphasis is placed on learning a variety of business applications software, discovering what the Internet is all about, and then gaining skills in general marketing, advertising and sales. Students practice using business case scenarios and engage in role-play activities to explore and reinforce concepts. Furthermore, the program develops those professional skills which are highly sought after by all employers. First, the focus is on rounding out knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and email software applications. Then, there is an emphasis on sales and marketing with courses in strategy development and management of the sales and marketing processes.

Business Computer Specialist

This program builds a solid foundation in fundamental computer and professional skills. Emphasis is placed on learning a variety of business applications software, discovering what the Internet is all about, and gaining accounting fundamentals and skills in some of the most popular software applications in use today. Furthermore, it develops those professional skills which are highly sought after by all employers. The program focuses on three key areas. First, the focus is on rounding out software application knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and personal management tools. Then students gain the common knowledge required to maintain a personal computer. Lastly, there is an emphasis on accounting, with training and then practice with the most common accounting packages used in today´s small to intermediate and then large corporate offices.
