Cardiology Technologist

This program is designed to prepare students for an exciting and challenging career in cardiac diagnostic testing. Students will learn how to perform and interpret Electrocardiograms and Exercise Tolerance Testing as well as reading and generating Holter Monitoring and Telemetry reports.

Dental Administrator

This program is designed to familiarize students with the clinical procedures of a dental office in order to provide the support systems required for the efficient operation of the clinic. Among other topics, students will cover appointment management, cash handling, billng practices, maintaining patient charts, developing effective recall systems and the One-Write computerized bookkeeping system. During the program, students will have hands-on training in a computer lab and will become proficient with two clinical and management computer systems on a windows-based platform. Students will receive extensive training on the clinical chart, sophisticated ledger, customized appointment book, patient file and office administrator component.

This diploma program is both comprehensive and intensive. The dental assistant program trains individuals in a broad range of clinical and laboratory skills, including preparing dental clients for examination and treatments, performing radiological procedures and preparing various dental materials. The Hospital Patient Registration Specialist program trains individuals in the intricacies of administration procedures found in departments such as Emergency, Admissions, Outpatients and Bed Control.
